Description:  This annual early summer tradition takes place on a fast, flat certified course at beautiful Tyler State Park in Newtown.  This event is open to runners, walkers, Para-athletes, youth teams and walkers with well- behaved dogs on a leash. The morning starts out with a local Mascot race at 9:30 a.m. and a pre-race warm-up with Dr. Denise Chranowski. There is plenty to do for the children with many free activities including “The Fun Bus”, obstacle course and face painting.   Round out the day with bountiful refreshments and free raffles!  Fun prizes for best dressed dog, spirited school, best dressed “yellow” sunshine theme outfit and most sponsored donations from family and friends (not mandatory to participate).

There will also be scoring for those who complete all three races. Runners will accumulate points in overall male/female categories along with their age group categories. Awards for the 3 combined races will be provided by Oakley.
